Legendary New York Knicks center Patrick Ewing questioned Eddy Curry’s ability to succeed in the Big Apple.

Patrick Ewing played in New York City for 15 years. Despite having a Hall of Fame career, he still had a few nights where he heard the boos from the audience. He knows what Eddy Curry, the current center for the New York Knicks, is going through.

“I don’t know if he came into camp in shape or not. You have to have a strong mind to play in New York. Not too many people can play there,” said the former University of Georgetown star.

Patrick Ewing, who is currently an assistant coach for the Orlando Magic, also mentioned how great it was to play in New York City, but after a while, it does wear you down to be berated by the fans.

Based on his behavior this season, we believe that Eddy Curry is already tired of it and wants out.

Then again, fans of the New York Knicks probably wouldn’t be all too sad if he gets his wish.
